POLISH SHORT FILMS AT THE LAGO FILM FEST

The 15th edition of the Lago Film Fest starts in a few days. Polish short films will be shown in several sections.

The Lago Film Fest is a nine-day long celebration of the cinema, music, dance, food and good wine. The extremely rich programme of the festival will satisfy mainly the needs of the short film fans, but there will be no lack of workshops and meetings with film-makers, either.

In the programme of the festival, there are as many as six Polish films. The short documentary film "In A Lion" by Karol Lindholm and the animated film "Bless You!" by Paulina Ziółkowska have a chance to win awards in the international competition. In the section "New SIgns" you can watch "Eatself"  directed by Edyta Adamczak, and within the frames of the panel "UNICEF Teens&Kids," two Polish animated films are in store for the young viewers - "Thicket" by Adrianna Matwiejczuk and "29" by Aleksandra Brożyna as well as the short feature film "Ravik the Steppe Turtle" by Michał Chmielewski.

This year's edition of the festival is held from the 19th to the 27th of July.
