AWARDS FOR "PATHS OF HATE"

After succeeding in France and Canada, the animated Paths of Hate by Damian Nenow received two top awards at the International Animated Film Festival that accompanied the tenth Mundos Digitales conference in La Coruna, Spain.

Mundos Digitales is one of the top events for computer animation in Europe. Paths of Hate received the award for Best International Animated Film and the Special Jury Prize for exceptional directing and art directing.

Mundos Digitales is a place where acclaimed masters of computer animation and special effects come to meet with young filmmakers. This year's conference participants included Pixar co-founder Alvy Ray Smith, head of the Visual Effects Society Eric Roth, and representatives of major US and European film studios, such as The Mill, Digital Domain, and Pixar.

Damian Nenow's film is also one of six candidates for the prestigious Cartoon d'Or award for Best European Short Animated Film. The winner will be announced on September 15 at the fall edition of Cartoon Forum in Sopot.
