"C’EST LA VIE" WITH A SPECIAL MENTION IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

A short animation by Wojciech Sankiewicz, Jacek Olejnik, Rafał Sankiewicz and Bartosz Terlecki gained recognition at the Brno Film Festival in the Czech Republic.

Brno Film Festival is a relatively new event on the Czech festival map. The organizers’ mission is to discover and promote new talented artists from all around the world. The programme is dominated by important political and social topics like migration, war, or COVID.

One of the films invited to the programme was the Polish animation C'est la vie. The production was appreciated by the jury, which awarded it a Special Mention.

How to keep balance in life when everything goes upside down? What to choose in a situation without any good views? What role to play in the most difficult of theatres – the Theatre of Life?

Some of our everyday resolutions seem to be insignificant, while others - although seemingly innocent - later resonate deeply for many years, in one moment turning our whole world upside down.

The latest film by Ferajna Filmowa KaPoK is a short story about a man who found himself in the most peculiar moment of this art of balancing, the art of choosing, the art of living. C'est la vie!
