POLISH ANIMATED FILMS AT PLANS PREMIERS

At Premiers Plans Film Festival, held next week in France, over forty Polish animated films will be shown.

The festival Premiers Plans is one of the largest reviews of young European cinema, of international reputation. This year, the 29th edition of the event is held in Angers.

This year, over 40 Polish animated films will be shown at the festival. In the student film competition, the film "Pussy" by Renata Gąsiorowska will compete for the award. In the animated film competition, the audience will watch "Leaven" by Artur Hanaj and "Locus" by Anita Kwiatkowska-Naqvi.

During the festival, a special screening of Polish animated films will also be held, featuring Tomek Ducki, Izabela Plucińska, Zbigniew Czapla and Xavier Kawa-Topor. The screening includes the presentations of 40 animated films by various film-makers, among others, Witold Giersz, Walerian Borowczyk, Jerzy Kucia, Wiola Sowa and Natalia Krawczuk.

The latest film by Marta Pajek, "Impossible Figures and Other Stories II" will also be present at the festival.

The festival is held from January 20 to 29.
