A BRIEF HISTORY OF US

When you are in a relationship, you do many things together. Someone is there for you when you make difficult decisions, when you are sad because your parents are passing away or uncomfortable when a child is leaving the family home. You know each other as well as if you were one organism. One is dependent on the other. But what happens when it is all over? When suddenly you have to say ‘I’ instead of ‘we’? Drawn in a comic book style with visual references to the natural world and superheroes, the animation asks an important question about the sense of individuality in relationships.
