Daria Kopiec’s animated film "The Pool or Death of a Goldfish" has won the Baltic Sea–Nordic Competition at the BLON Animation and Video Game Festival. The jury praised the film for its emotional complexity, the strength of its visual metaphor, and the way it translates a difficult mother-daughter relationship into a distinctive and evocative animated language.

“Territory”, directed by Barbara Synak, has received an award at the 2026 Almaty Animation Festival in Kazakhstan. Produced at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, the film won in the Experimental Animation category.

A total of nine Polish productions have been selected for the 2026 Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF), one of the leading showcases of independent cinema in the United States. Taking place from 4 to 9 August, the festival is the largest independent film event in New England, presenting international cinema alongside industry workshops and Academy Award®-qualifying competitions for Best Live Action Short, Best Documentary Short, and Best Animated Short. This year's programme was selected from more than 7,000 submissions from around the world.

Paulina Ziółkowska’s film “Tears” has been awarded at this year’s Guanajuato International Film Festival in Mexico. The animation received the award for Best Animated Short Film (“Mejor Cortometraje de Animación”). GIFF is an Academy Award-qualifying festival.
