On Saturday ended another edition of the Italian Magma International Short Film Festival. The audience award went to Karina Paciorkowska.

The Magma International Short Film Festival is an event which has been held for 18 years in Acireale, Italy. The festival is dedicated entirely to short films, in the programme you can find animated, feature, documentary and experimental films.

The award-winning "You Are Overreacting" by Karina Paciorkowska is a hand-drawn animated film, trying to ask questions about women's place in contemporary reality. The film is inspired by everyday life, statements of public figures and by the way the media talk about women.

This year's edition of the Magma was held from the 19th to the 23rd of November.

You can find more information about the event on the official website of the festival.
