POLISH ANIMATED FILMS AT INTERNATIONAL FESTIVALS IN JANUARY

This year's festival circuit hasn't quite started, and yet Polish animated films are going be screened at several important international festivals. Check out which Polish films are going to be shown at the French Premiers Plans or the Australian Flickerfest.

The American Film Maudit 2.0 will be held in the first half of January. Its competition segment is going to feature Natalia Krawczuk's “Metro” and Izabela Plucińska's “Portrait of Suzanne”. In turn, the latter half of the month is marked by the French Premiers Plans - Angers Film Festival. There is no shortage of our productions in its competition, too. “Such a Beautiful Town” by Marta Koch and Yelyzaveta Pysmak's “My Fat Arse and I” are both contenders.

The animated documentary by Katarzyna Warzecha – “We Have One Heart” – will enjoy as many as two competition screenings this month. The film will first visit the French FIPA DOC International Documentary Festival, and then travel all the way to Australia for the Flickerfest 30th International Short Film Festival.
