The latest animation by Mariusz Wilczyński has been noticed and awarded by the jury of this year's edition of the prestigious festival in Annecy.

Annecy festival is the most important and one of the oldest festivals dedicated to animated film in Europe. Every year, it gathers an audience of over 150,000 and becomes a meeting place for professionals from around the world related to the animated film industry. In Annecy, films compete for the title of the best short, television, commissioned film and student film, and the best of them will receive Crystal Awards. This year's edition was held online and due to its unusual form it will last until the end of this month.

"Kill It And Leave This Town" is an autobiographical impression, reminiscence of childhood images in which the memory of dead parents and the hometown of Lodz is revived.
