Imaginative and spirited Zosia, sensitive and self-conscious Oskar, and independent, but shy Kinga start their first year at the boarding school for visually impaired and blind children. They resemble fledglings. The seven-year-olds are too young to leave home. Facing the difficult separation from their parents, they try to support each other… This is a film about the life lesson on ‘spreading your wings’ and about the things that help us get through another day even though the world is falling to pieces around us.

Lidia Duda – reżyserka i scenarzystka filmów i seriali dokumentalnych. Dwa razy otrzymała Grand Prix Złoty Lajkonik na Krakowskim Festiwalu Filmowego, za filmy „Herkules”(2005) i „Uwikłani”(2012). Jej filmy pokazywane były w konkursach na kilkudziesięciu zagranicznych festiwalach filmowych. Zdobywczyni Grand Prix m.in. w Chicago, Nowym Jorku, Huston, Istambule, Meksyku, Moskwie,, Banff, Kantonie, Pradze. Zdobywczyni Grand Press za „U nas w Pietraszach”. Od kilkunastu lat pracuje jako wolny strzelec. Należy do Stowarzyszenia Filmowców Polskich , Polskiej Akademii Filmowej, Gildii Polskich Reżyserów Dokumentalnych.
