POLISH ANIMATIONS AT INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVALS IN JULY

This year's festival season will be drastically different from last year. The pandemic did not leave us, but the organizers of the film events did not say the last word either. Many events have been moved to another date, but many festivals will take place now, only in the online or hybrid version. Check out which of the July film festivals will feature Polish animations.

Three Polish animations have been invited to the program of the 21st edition of ShorTS International Film Festival. In the competition of the Italian festival we will find "Such A Beautiful Town" by Marta Koch, "Story" by Jola Bańkowska and "The Little Soul" directed by Barbara Rupik.

The film by Jola Bańkowska together with "Last Supper" by Piotr Dumała will be shown at the Spanish ANIMAKOM FEST 2020 - Bilbao International Animation Community Festival and during the 16th edition of Lago Film Fest - International Festival of Independent Cinema. There will be several Polish animations at the Italian festival. In addition to "Story, "Guilt" by Marcjanna Urbańska and "The Hunt" by Mateusz Jarmulski will also compete for awards.

One more chance for a prize this month will have a movie by Barbara Rupik. "The Little Soul" was invited to the Croatian Tabor Film Festival competition. In turn, the animation "Three Women On A Bench" by Karolina Borgiasz will be presented during dotdotdot - Vienna's open air short film festival in Austria.
