A stream of consciousness meditation on the artistic process, "Opus Magnum" invites the viewer to experience a journey of self-reflection. The animator turns his pencil towards himself, bringing to life his innermost doubts in a free flowing and ironic collage of expression. Through an inventive interplay of language and visuals, the image of an artist as a graceful hero is done away with. A curious film, driven by humor, intimacy and a steady drum beat.

Aleksander Makowski (1990) - multidisciplinary artist and director born and based in Warsaw, Poland. Graduate of the Graphics Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. His work revolves around fields such as animation, graphic design and video art. Being a musician himself he usually works on music-related projects.
